About Margo Berkowitz

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Margo Berkowitz has been lived and worked in Louisville, Colorado since 2016. Her practice is rooted in a love of color and movement, balancing vibrant hues with softer tones to create fluid, expressive compositions.

Margo entered the Boulder art community in 2019, first through classes and later with a deeper commitment during the pandemic. While her primary focus is abstract oil painting, she also explores acrylic, mixed media, and abstraceted depictions of animals and landscapes.

Her work has been shown with the Louisville Art Association, the Boulder Art Association, and Ana’s Art Gallery in downtown Boulder, Colorado. margo’s paintings are held in select, private collections, and she continues to create for the meditative and calming qualities of the practice, as well as for the connection it fosters within her community of artists.
